Jimmy Punzo

Jimmy Punzo is thrilled to be joining the program as the new percussion director! With years of experience working with percussion students in both middle and high school programs across Texas and New Mexico, he’s excited to help the section grow, improve, and have fun doing it. Mr. Punzo has a strong background in concert, marching, and solo percussion and is passionate about building a positive and hard-working percussion culture.

Outside of music, Mr. Punzo is also a trained pastry chef—so if you're lucky, you might see some cookies at rehearsals! He’s looking forward to meeting everyone, getting to work, and making this year’s percussion section one of the best yet.
